The AES announces finalists for its youth paper competition

Academic articles contest

First place: Nikita Samoilov “Euroscepticism and Atlantoskepticism. French Eurosceptics in the context of Brexit”, 3rd year bachelor student, Institute of International Relations and World History, the Nizhny Novgorod State University

Second place: Kamran Huseynov “Flexible Gaullism: Macron and French initiatives in the field of defense and security of Europe”, assistant professor at the Department of theory and history of international relations, the Urals Federal University.

Third place was shared by: Evgenia Filippova “Party and electoral dimensions of language policy in Spain”, 1st year postgraduate student, European University in St. Petersburg and Alexander Vasilchenko “Reshoring in the European Union: causes, dynamics, factors”, 3rd year bachelor student, the Yaroslavl State University.

Research chapters contest

First place: Irina Lisinskaya “Legal regulation of migration in the EAEU and the European communities: a comparative analysis”, 2nd year master's degree, Faculty of Law, Nizhny Novgorod State University

Second place: Daria Petlyaeva “The problem of national identity in modern France”, 2nd year master's degree, MGIMO University.

The jury decided not to assign a third prizewinner.

Dmitry Tkach “Regional dimension of the policy of the Holy See under Pope Francis" - 1st year postgraduate student, MGIMO University
