The international jury announces names of the finalists of the AES-2018 competition for the best academic articles written by young scholars.

Winners of the contest

First place: Olga Khodinova, postgraduate student of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry. “The conceptual triad ‘Tolerance – Identity – Nationalism’ in terms of migration crisis in France”.

Second place: Elizaveta Chinkova, first-year graduate student, World Economy and International Business, Demidov Yaroslavl State University. “Russian Exports of Natural Gas to Europe”.

Third place: Timofey Novosad, bachelor graduate of Perm State University. “The EU decision-making mechanisms: current trends”

Laureates of the contest

  1. Christina Kargashina, 1st year postgraduate student, Institute of History and International Relations, Saratov State University. “French society and the referendum on the Constitution of Europe in 2005”.
  2. Anastasia Pogorelskaya, deputy director of the Center for International Academic Cooperation, Tomsk State University. “The EU normative power in the context of European development policy”
  3. Alexey Domanov, junior researcher at the EU Documentation Center, Institute of Europe, RAS. “The multidirectional impact of cognitive mobilization on the level of Euroscepticism of citizens with different social status”.

All authors are awarded with AES honorary diplomas. The articles of the winners will be published in “Contemporary Europe” journal, the articles of the laureates will be published in the journals of the regional universities.
