The round table “Big Europe: new agenda”

Under the programs of J. Monnet, the Department of Theory and History of International Relations of the Ural Federal University organizes a number of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Association for European Studies. In the period from March 17 to March 27, open lectures were held with a discussion on the most important topics of modern European studies.

On April 7, the round table “Big Europe: new agenda” was organized and highlighted the problems of internal and external regionalism, the consequences of Brexit, five scenarios of the EU developement and prospects for the formation of the EU identity. Presentations were made by the Head of Department of Theory and History of International Relations, PhD in history, professor V. Mikhaylenko, Ph.D., associate professor E. Mikhaylenko, Ph.D., associate professor K. Muratshina, professor O. Bogatyreva, Ph.D., associate professor K. Tabarintseva-Romanova, Ph.D., associate professor E. Lazarev, Ph.D., Director of the Department of International Relations A. Burnasov, graduate student E. Lapanovich.

At the youth section of the round table students, undergraduates and graduate students made presentations on the topics of international relations.
