On March 17, 2017 at the IMOMI National Research University of Nizhny Novgorod the round table “European integration and national interests of Russia” was organized by PhD in History, professor A. Branitsky, the Executive Director of the Program for European Studies in IMOMI, Deputy. Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Branch of AEVIS, Director of the Foundation for European Studies in Nizhny Novgorod.

35 people took part in the round table - employees and students IMOMI. Professor A. Branitsky made a presentation "25 years of the AES and prospects for the development of European research in Russia." Associate Professor D. Leushkin D.V. presented a report “EU-NATO interaction in the European security system”. Then students made presentations about the problems of security in Europe, the role of EU member states in the decision-making process at the European level, the migration crisis and separatism in inspanidual EU countries.
